- Re-election 2007 - THANK
YOU
- I’d
like to thank all the EMASS members who participated in
the election for Commissioner which concluded this past
Sunday night. In our 13 years of existence this was our
first contested election and it was good that we developed
the wherewithal in order to repeat this process in the future.
- I want to thank the people that put that process together
and conducted a fluid election: Jon Shubow, our web guy,
who has worked tirelessly in our behalf at way-less-then
market rates; Arthur Priver, who didn’t know what
he was
getting into when he agreed to chair the nominating committee;
and, of course, the omnipresent John Stewart, who handled
the paper ballots and the phoned-in questions.
- I want to mention my opponent, Don Murphy, who worked
hard to pursue his EMASS ideals and I hope he will continue
to be the responsible, active Board member that he has been
in the past.
- Finally, I want to thank those of you that helped me get
out the vote as well as the members that did vote for me.
I am thrilled that you have allowed me to continue to pursue
my EMASS vision. I will not betray the trust you have placed
in me. Thanks.
