At the March 2nd meeting the EMASS Board took steps to equalize
the competition and create better balance in its weekend divisions.
The American Division added a core team of 6 players and
will now have a 6 team division with 16 man rosters.
The National Division will be divided into 2 leagues: (1)
National “A” - an 8 team league of its stronger
players and (2) the NEW National “B”
– a 4 team league which is envisioned to have a skill
level akin to the Atlantic Division.
The Board has thus created 3 distinct skill levels
of play in its weekend divisions and paved the way for unlimited
growth capacity in the future with a place for everyone who
wants to play ball. For those Atlantic Division guys
who would like to play on the weekend, but felt that the skill
level was too high or the competition too intense, there is
now a spot for you in the National “B” Division.
If
you have already registered and are interested in
playing in the new division, please email Louise
and let her know you would like to play in National "B".
(Additional dues, if any, will be adjusted at a later date).
If
you have not as yet registered, you can sign up to
play in both the Atlantic and National, and afterwards, email
Louise and clarify your intention to join the National “B”
Division.
