2009 Season: ATLANTIC DIVISION REORGANIZATION -

At its December 2 meeting the EMASS board of directors approved a proposal to change the procedure for forming teams in the Atlantic Division. The details of the plan are to be developed in the next two months, but the result will be the creation of eight (possibly 9 or 10) totally new teams, with new names.

Our firm belief is that this change will make the senior softball experience much more enjoyable for everyone. We fully recognize that change is difficult, especially for some older players, so we ask that you thoughtfully consider this new approach and cooperate fully in making it successful.

We will be sending you regular messages via Email about the reorganization plan for the 2009 season. There is a lot of work to do, starting with the selection of managers and assistant managers. We encourage you to send us your thoughts, suggestions and questions and we will respond as quickly as possible.
